When I open Twitter, all I could read and see are posts of hatred, violence and animosity. Instagram, Facebook and YouTube are also very similar to this essence. Some of these posts pertain to islamophobia in India. Islamophobia isn’t new to me or any other Muslim out there. Muslims living as minorities in countries like China, Myanmar, France, India, Palestine, etc., are encountering countless numbers of unfair circumstances. One can only wonder what triggers certain people to transform themselves into hate mongers.
India is particularly sinister in sowing seeds of abhorrence. The pride of some Indians in being card-carrying members of hostility is disturbing.
To the people reading this, I request you sincerely speak about Islamophobia. The struggles Muslims go through just for belonging in Islam are immense.
An-Nur 24:43
أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُزۡجِى سَحَابًا ثُمَّ يُؤَلِّفُ بَيۡنَهُۥ ثُمَّ يَجۡعَلُهُۥ رُكَامًا فَتَرَى ٱلۡوَدۡقَ يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡ خِلَٰلِهِۦ وَيُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مِن جِبَالٍ فِيهَا مِنۢ بَرَدٍ فَيُصِيبُ بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَصۡرِفُهُۥ عَن مَّن يَشَآءُۖ يَكَادُ سَنَا بَرۡقِهِۦ يَذۡهَبُ بِٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرِ
Do you not see that Allah drives clouds? Then He brings them together, then He makes them into a mass, and you see the rain emerge from within it. And He sends down from the sky, mountains [of clouds] within which is hail, and He strikes with it whom He wills and averts it from whom He wills. The flash of its lightning almost takes away the eyesight.
