Steamed foods are always a great way to keep calories at bay. Steamed kebab is an ideal dish that fulfils your cravings but also cuts out cooking oil.

Ingredients
Chicken mince: 250g
onion: 1
ginger garlic paste: 2 tsp
parsley: a handful
Spring onion: a handful
green chilli: 1
Grated cheese: 2 tbsp
chicken seasoning/masala: 2 tbsp
pepper: 1 tsp
salt: as required
wheat flour: 2 tbsp
oil: 2 tbsp
Method
Combine chicken all the ingredients in a bowl
Mix well to coerce ingredients thoroughly
Add flour little by little while mixing
Cover the bowl and leave it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours

Prepare your pot for steaming the chicken
Roll the mince using oil into cylindrical shapes onto aluminium foil
Carefully roll either ends of the foil like a chocolate wrapper
Pour a cup of water in the steamer
Place the foil containing mince in the steamer plate

You can also place the foil in water directly
Cook for 30 to 35 minutes
Remove the foil and slice the kebabs
Take a pan and brush some oil
Place the kebab pieces on the pan
Flip and roast the kebabs on both sides for a couple of minutes
Take out the kebabs onto a plate

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot
