Make this Creamy Lasagna without Oven/Microwave

Lasagna recipe without oven/microwave.

I made this heavenly delicious Lasagna at home without Pasta sheets or mixed herbs or an oven. It was very creamy and was over within minutes. Check out this recipe and try it out and let me know in comments.

Ingredients:

White sauce —

1. Butter – 2 tbsps

2. Maida – 2 tbsps

3. Milk – 500 ml

4. Salt as required

Tomato sauce –

1. Tomato – 3 medium

2. Onion – 1 small

3. Garlic – 3 pods

4. Red chilli – 3 nos

5. Butter – 1 tsp

6. Tomato ketchup - 2 tsp

7. Salt as required

Chicken vegetable mixture —

1. Chicken boneless – 400 gms

2. Carrot – 1

3. Butter – 1 tbsp

4. Chilli powder – 2 tsp

5. Pepper powder – 1 tsp

6. Cumin powder – 1 tsp

7. Salt as required

Method:

White sauce-

•add equal parts butter and maida

•cook on stove till butter melts

•add milk

•cook until the mixture thickens

•add more milk if needed to loosen the mixture and add salt

Tomato sauce-


•blanch tomatoes

•in a pan sauté garlic and onion and add the blanched tomatoes

•add chilli flakes and tomato ketchup

•add salt

•cook until tomatoes get blended well


Chicken vegetable layer-


•in a pan, sauté carrots in butter

•add chicken that are finely chopped

•add salt, pepper, cumin and chilli powder

•cook until chicken is soft or for 20 mins


you can add water if you don’t want a dry chicken layer


Layering:

•flatten bread slices using rolling pin, place as first layer

•layer the bechamel (white) sauce, tomato sauce and chicken vegetable mixture one above the other, in your desired order.

•in between add cheese. I added cheese slices. You may use shredded/block cheese as well.

Stove set up

•place in a stove setting as shown in picture below, by placing a hard bottomed iron pan under the lasagna bowl, helps the food to not get burned.

•cook under low flame till cheese melts.

it takes about 20-25 mins under low heat but make sure it doesn’t get burnt at bottom.

and voila it’s ready to eat.

5. SautĂŠ garlic in butter and add the ground tomato - chilli flake purĂŠe


6. Add tomato ketchup if you like, I've added some for that extra tanginess.

And our layer number 2 is ready


7. Let’s do Bechamel sauce now


8. Creamy white/bechamel sauce/ layer no. 3 is ready


9. cut the outer layer of bread and flatten with a rolling pin and place them at bottom as a base layer



9. Let’s assemble the rest

Cheese slices are my Layer no. 4



10. Repeat again



11 Keep an iron/ heavy metal pan as a base and above it place the lasagna dish (I’ve used a stand)

Cover it with a big utensil or a pot for even heat distribution

Cook for 20 mins under low heat and 5 mins in high heat

turn off flame and

remove the pot




12. Creamy and absolutely delicious Lasagna is ready!


13. Make this without the need for pasta sheets, mixed herbs or even an oven or a microwave
