Flavourful Aloo Masala

Very easy to make and flavourful Aloo masala recipe. Aloo is hindi for potatoes.

This week had me some cravings for Aloo masala. I had it with curd rice and it was divine. This dish is usually served in Thalis, at restaurants and in weddings. Aloo Masala/Masiyal is a South Indian side for chappatis, rice or puris.

I personally like to have it with curd or sambar rice. The spiciness of masalas and the smell of roasted garlic along with boiled potatoes makes this dish amazing!!

It’s very easy and simple to make. I made this recipe with only 1 large potato and it was enough for two. It only takes fifteen minutes to make and very less quantity of oil is used too.

I had this masiyal at a wedding once and I wanted to make it ever since!

Potatoes provide significant levels of potassium, iron, vitamins B and C, protein and fibre.
